Condsider This....

Basic Membership
• Members must be at least fourteen years of age.
• Members must have a working email address that is registered to their name.
• Members must be poliet and honest.
• HTML knowledge, mature sim play, and horse racing knowledge are important for this game.
• HTML knowledge: You must be able to code a simple yet nice looking site.
Starting Out
• Beginning members will start out as a "TO", also known as a trainer/owner.
• All members will recieve $25,000 upon joining.
• All members will also recieve the following set up:
Five acres of land
A barn with three stalls, feed room, tack room, and hay loft.
One one acre pasture
Two half acre pastures
A small house (two bed, one bath)
Horses
• All horses must be registered in the GF Horse Registar to be elgiable for racing.
• All horses must have tack, be fed, and have seen the vet and farrier to be elgiable for racing.
• All horses will age on the first of January.
• No horse may begin racing before they turn two years of age.
• There is no importing allowed in this game. However, creating an exported horse is allowed.
• There is no speed aging or 'Insta-foal' breeding.
• Mares will carry foals a full eleven months and may only be bred during the breeding season (February to September).
• Horses must be of realistic height (Thoroughbreds range between 15.0 hands and 17.0 hands; average height is 16.0 hands).
• Horses must be of realistic colors and realistic patterns.
• Foals must be of a realistic combination from the parents; if you are unsure, ask.
Racing
• Only healthy horses are allowed to race. That means they must have seen the vet, farrier, have tack, have feed, and have a clear coggins.
• The Grumpy Old Trainer will give you insight of the horse so you can select a reasonable distance and surface for your horse.
• All races are done on a program that I own, and this program gives out realistic race results.
• The full racecard comes from Saratoga; Stakes Highlights will be put up for entries, too.
• Maiden horses must break their maiden before racing.
• No horse can go from maiden to graded stakes; be wise about moving up.
Breeding
• Mares must be retired before being bred, and must be at least four years of age.
• Stallions must be retired before breeding, and must be at least three years of age.
• There is no back breeding in this game.
• The foal must be realistic in color and size. If you are unsure, ask on the forum.
• Mares will carry the foal for eleven months.
• The breeding season is February to September.
Websites
• Websites can be built for: Tack stores and Stables.
• All websites must have a disclaimer linking back to GF.
• Websites must be clean and may only be used for GF.
• All websites must be approved before they can be used.
• Associations are not allowed in GF.
Picture Use
• Please seek permission before using a picture.
• The horse in the picture and the owner and/or photographer must be listed.
• Do not steal pictures!
